CAROL WHITE

PASTORAL CARE

Hello, my name is Carol. I have been worshipping at Cameron Park Anglican church since 2019. As part of my contribution to the congregation, I am on call for pastoral support. I endeavour to meet the spiritual needs of the congregation in their daily lives and at times of special need. Everyone is treated with compassion and sensitivity at all times. I look forward to meeting new members to our congregation and sharing in the joy and peace of Christ.

WE BELIEVE.

We believe in God the Father, creator of heaven and earth; Jesus Christ the Son of God; and the Holy Spirit.
Gen 1:1; Matt 28:19

We believe that Jesus Christ died for our sins in accordance with the scriptures, and that he was buried, and that he was raised on the third day.
1 Cor 15:1-4

We believe that God loved the world so much that he sent his son Jesus to die on the cross to save us from our sins so that if we believe in him we would have eternal life with him.
John 3:16

We believe the only way to have an eternal relationship with God is through Jesus. Jesus said “I am the way the truth and the life no one comes to the Father except through me.”
John 14:6

We believe that the Bible (the Old and New Testament) is the ultimate rule and standard of faith given by the inspiration of God and containing all things necessary for salvation.

OUR HISTORY.

When Teralba Anglican Church closed at the end of October 2018, a group of its members started the Cameron Park Anglican Church on Sunday 3rd of November 2018. Colin and Kay started to host our church in their home at 3 Kippax Street Cameron Park. The congregation has ranged between 10 and 15 people since we have been gathering.

People in our congregation have been encouraged to use their spiritual Gifts as we partner with God as he grows his Kingdom in and around Cameron Park. Most of our members have willingly engaged in new ministry opportunities and we have seen significant spiritual growth in the church.

Two members of our group have successfully completed the Australis Certificate in Ministry through the Diocese of Bendigo, one person has completed the Certificate in Clinical Pastoral Education, while many members have also completed the ALPHA Course.

New members are always welcome – the foundation of our gatherings is God’s word, we fellowship and share meals together, including the Lord’s Supper and we communicate regularly with God as we pray for our world and God’s church. Cameron Park Anglican Church is a great place to explore the remarkable message of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour.

We have regularly given 10% of our offertory to missions - including Mum’s Cottage in Holmesville, Kairos on the Outside, Soul Cafe, Sharing of Ministries Abroad Australia (SOMA) and Scripture in Schools (SRE). Through retiring offertories, we have also supported those affected by drought, bush fires and floods.

We have been meeting each Sunday at 10am, at 3 Kippax Street, Cameron Park since the 3rd of November 2018 and online through COVID lockdown periods. During COVID we were keen to maintain contact with our people and to provide opportunities for our members to contribute, even online, to our regular worship gatherings and connect group.

If you would like to know more, please email us at church@cpanglican.org.au or phone Colin on 0406 096 190.

There is a place for you with us!
